What is an Educational Vision

The way you work and children to look you call a vision. Usually, an educational vision based on the vision of one or more teachers. There are several schools of Pedagogy where you can work out.

General information

Child care should be more like accommodating only. It’s supposed to give meaning to the education in which the child feels happy and can develop optimally. A child must be a warm and secure second home for your child. Where it feels loved and known to develop freely. Not the parents or the teachers, but the children are the center of attention. Direct communication between us and the children we therefore find very important and we start this all the babies. While eg the change we talk to the baby and tell them what we do. Every child is a social being: a Mensje among the people, someone with a self. You reach our eyes remain the best by close to your self and nature. With us, therefore, no TV, video, bright colors and plastic toys. We work with lots of wood and natural materials in an environment with muted colors. A statement by Emmi Pikler is therefore “children give color to the environment.” Here is a very beautiful poem that this is actually quite put it:

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of the life’s longing for itself:
They come through you but not from you
and though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
for they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls.
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you can not visit, not even in your dreams.
You may try to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward
nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from
which your children are streaked as living arrows.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and
He bends you with His might,
that his arrows will fly fast and far.
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be a joy for you:
even as he loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Of course these times are global and one child will sleep longer than the other kids. At the smallest extent possible we follow the rhythm of the child. Does your child have more than two naps necessary we will take this into account. We open the day with the children fairy and gnome Lydia Keesie awaken by a song to sing for them and / or a poem to terminate. This elf and goblin questioning the children and tell them what we’re going to do that day. At 17:30 we connect to spend the day Lydia fairy and gnome Keesie to bed and sing a lullaby for them.

The Mealtime

These moments we really want to live as a group. This means that while we all sit down to eat. We try your baby as much as possible at the times that you provide, to feed but let him cry half an hour when it is hungry. We work next child also here we follow your child (of course in consultation with you)

To Bed

We put the kids to bed at the same time. For us keep this in that we first change all the children and / or let go to the toilet. Then we read and bring to a story than all the children who go to sleep at one time for bed. When all the children are in bed is sung a lullaby. With this method we hope to sleep in the nursery will be quieter and smoother.

This sleep policy is obviously the most applicable to children who sleep badly one time per day but also for the smallest of the children we adopt this policy as much as possible. This quiet operations are in our view necessary for a child to be able to surrender to his need for sleep.

The beds and mattresses are all new purchased at the start of the Rainbow Fairies. The mattresses will be cleaned each additional year. Also zullende mattresses aired and turned at least 1 time per week. The beds are made with a cotton mattress protector and fitted sheet. The children all sleep (at least 2 years) in a sleeping bag. In addition, they have both a cotton blanket and a cotton bed sheet in their cot. This is also part of our vision include home you put them anyway, after all, not even in a bare bed. The beds are if the child what did not come the next day sleeping in, changed so that you are sure that your child is not on the bedsheet of another child. Does your child several times a week, then his bed changed at least 1x per week.
